Death grants Leo the power to see a red countdown above people with under three days to live. Dismissive at first, he witnesses a stranger marked zero die. On a flight, he sees zero over every passenger. He tries to halt takeoff, gets ejected. Only Anna trusts him and leaves. The plane crashes, proving him right.
